You can choose to buy the book "Driving in Iceland" and it will be sent by post after payment has been received, mailing cost is included in price. Íslandspóstur usually delivers the book within 3-5 working days. The book costs 6.900 ISK. The course Driving school 1 or 2, plus the book costs 20.400 ISK. The same book is used in Driving Schools 1 and 2. The practice tests are included in Driving school 1 & 2. All prices are in Icelandic kronur (ISK). Note that according to rules applying to internet based driving schools the courses must be completed within 30 days after study starts.*

Its use is only permitted to students who have registered and paid for a course. Any and all use of the School’s website (system) for any business purposes is unauthorized without a written permission from AKT ehf. Any copying of the system for any purposes is unauthorized and illegal. All courses must be paid in advance. AKT ehf is not responsible for any problems, damages, mishaps or accidents resulting from the use of its system, regardless of whether they result from errors in the system or any other reasons. AKT ehf is not responsible for any sort of damages that may result from the inability to access the system short term or long term.
According to rules set forth by  Icelandic Transport Authority, a student must complete a course within 30 days from the day the course was started. If a student has not logged into the system at any time in 30 days after registration, he or she can claim a refund.
